#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The administration of the Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, has been characterized for promoting and supporting the arrival of new companies and investments to the city, generating employment and economic stability.

During the business breakfast held by the Asociación Civil Generadores de Negocios, the Mayor highlighted the economic progress achieved by the municipality during his first year of administration.

He stated that in 2022 alone 150 tourist events were held, including congresses, sporting, artistic and cultural events, festivals and filming, thus achieving the best tourist recovery in the state with a hotel occupancy rate of 95 percent throughout the year.

Also in 2022, 51 new companies were installed with more than 150 million pesos invested, while only so far this month of 2023, the Directorate of Commerce already has the application for 20 licenses for the opening of new businesses in Boca del Rio, which means that the private sector is being encouraged to continue investing in the municipality.
